Mark T Higgins

Mark Higgins has been serving individuals, families, and small businesses in the Rochester and Finger Lakes regions since 2010 as a financial advisor with Higgins Financial Services. Working alongside his father, Tom Higgins, and sister Kathryn, Mark plays a key role in the family-owned firm, with offices located in Fairport and Geneva.

Mark partners closely with clients to clarify their goals, establish priorities, and build a customized plan to achieve them. He proactively monitors progress, adjusts strategies as needed, and delivers a comprehensive advisory experience that integrates financial planning, retirement planning, and investment management.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Mark holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology. During his undergraduate years (1992–1996), he was a four-year member of RIT’s men’s Division III basketball team.

Mark is a Registered Representative and maintains the following licenses:

• Series 7 — General Securities Representative

• Series 65 — Registered Investment Advisor Representative

• Series 63 — Uniform Securities Agent (State Law Exam)

• Insurance — Accident, Life, Health, and Disability

Before entering the financial services industry, Mark spent 14 years at BCC Software, ultimately serving as Vice President of Marketing, Data Services, and Customer Services.

Outside the office, Mark enjoys life in Fairport with his three children, all who are college aged. He is an avid golfer, boater, and traveler. He is also the founder and host of the Autism Open, an annual charity golf tournament now in its 17th year. The event has raised more than $275,000 for Autism Up, a local autism support and programming organization where Mark proudly serves as Board Chair.
